In Cut the Rope: Magic, another installment in the fun, Cut the Rope logic-puzzle series, Om Nom has been transported accidentally away from his boxes into a world that overflows with magic. He still needs to eat. Thankfully, there's plenty of hard, spiral candy!
An evil spider wizard, Magic Spider, has stolen Om Nom's candies. The player must help Om Nom find and eat each one over 160 levels through six unique landscapes depicted in a magical book that also serves as a map for Om Nom's travels. As with previous games, they must use unique strategies to cut one or more ropes in just the right way for the candy to reach Om Nom. If they fail, a level resets. They must also collect stars.
While trying to acquire candy, the player might need to cut a rope attached to another object, such as a wooden beam, to create a platform in a different spot or block off an area. They must also deal with new challenges, such as starry, cosmic swirls with powerful gravitational forces that allow objects and Om Nom to float through the air in different directions.
Lastly, Om Nom can turn into six magical characters that possess helpful abilities, including a bird that can fly up to a star or candy, a mouse that can smell hidden candy and a dragon that can force movements.
How to play:
Use onscreen hints to guide strategies. Collect stars. Undo a transformation to make Om Nom drop from a higher area to a lower one. Cut one or more ropes to direct a candy into Om Nom's normal or transformed body.
Controls:
Mouse: To cut ropes, press the left button, and then slide the mouse in any direction. To transform Om Nom, click the transformation button. To restore his form, click him.
Mobile: To cut ropes, press the touchscreen or trackpad surface with a finger or stylus, and then slide across it in any direction. To transform Om Nom, tap the transformation button. To restore his form, tap him.
