Ships 3D is a block-world adventure game that features action on the high seas. The player chooses one of two modes (Team Flags or Trader Game). Their goal is to perform a related mission by directing an avatar and a ship and using weapons.

The player must provide a guest username or access or register an account. After they select a mode, the game provides more detailed information about how to play via an Instructions button. As dictated by the mode, the player can switch teams or join other ships at any time. 

The game allows the player to use a helper bot to control their ship (i.e., steer, set the sails and fire cannons). The player can also instruct the bot to do nothing. That said, they can manually take control of these areas from the bot, which means it stops its automatic handling of the ship.

Ships 3D provides chat during open-world play. It provides a mini-map in the lower-right area. It also offers upgrade opportunities for the ship, cannon and skins.

How to play:

Arrange a username. Choose a mode. Customize the bot or turn it off. Direct the avatar to walk around, access a ship, perform ship-related actions and fight. Complete upgrades.

Controls:

Keyboard: To confirm a username, press the Enter key. To chat, use Enter. To learn more, use T. To direct the avatar, use the WASD keys. When close to the steering, sails or cannon, interact with the object by using F. To steer or rotate the sails, use the A or D keys. To jump, use Spacebar. To change the weapon, use E. 
Mouse: Click buttons. To make the character look around, slide the mouse. To attack, click the left button. To fire a cannon, aim by sliding the mouse, and then press the left button.
Mobile: Tap buttons. To look around, slide the finger or stylus. To attack, tap the screen or trackpad. To fire a cannon, aim by sliding the finger or stylus, and then press the surface.
