Rabbit Samurai 2, a side-scrolling, labyrinth platformer, starts in a forest where a bear discovers that his domesticated bees have escaped their beehives. The player must help the rabbit samurai, the round head of a white rabbit wearing a red mask, find every bee while also trying to collect other items and stay away from deadly obstacles.
The rabbit samurai rolls around grassy paths above and below ground level with the force of momentum from swinging on ropes attached to arrowhead style grappling hooks. The player must direct the ropes so that the rabbit can bump into the bees and roll through collectible carrots and diamonds.
The game doesn't make the process easy. Every time the rabbit bumps into a bee, the bee sticks close, which makes it difficult for the player to shoot the grappling hook accurately. Diamonds are hidden in the soil and barely marked by tiny, floating sparkles. The player can't always connect a hook because some walls feature metal plates. Other obstacles, some deadly, include spikes on walls, doors and floating balls and animal enemies. The player uses trampolines, cannons, wooden platforms and other tools to aid the rabbit's movements.
If the player successfully returns the beekeeper's bees, they receive access to 17 additional bonus levels!
How to play:
Roll and swing through labyrinths to find bees, carrots and diamonds. Use all available tools to protect the rabbit from danger. Return to the dōjō at the end of each level to move onto the next one.
Controls:
Keyboard: To use a grappling hook and rope, press Left Arrow, Right Arrow, Up Arrow or Down Arrow. To shoot diagonally, press two arrow keys at the same time.
Mouse: Position the cursor on the exact target surface, and then press and hold the left button.
Mobile: Slide the cursor onto the target with the tip of a finger or stylus on the trackpad or screen, and press and hold the tip against the surface.
