Trains.io is a Snake-style, battle-arena game that uses trains rather than classic snakes or worms. A player must carefully navigate their train across the dark arena to collect toolboxes and other items like bolts to make their train as long as possible. Their primary goal is to achieve the highest ranking on the leaderboard at the top right corner of the screen.

The player can navigate their train anywhere in the arena with a few exceptions. If they allow their train to slightly tap or directly crash into another train or wall, their train turns into toolboxes. If they do well before inevitably losing control of the train, they earn a large amount of coins that they can then use to revive their train or upgrade it to one of several other design possibilities.

Trains.io also offers the player opportunities to make the train expand faster. After a revive or return, the player's train might start with a lot more cars than the last time the player entered the arena. Additionally, the player can speed up the train by directing it to run through blue potions in round containers that pop up now and then.

How to play:

Direct the train through items and away from other trains and the walls. Use circular or looping movements to keep the train from hitting anything when it becomes large and unwieldy. Upgrade the color and style of the cars with coins. Achieve a high rank on the leaderboard.

Controls:

Note: Use gentle movements. Any sudden, fast movements can cause the train to careen into another train or wall.
Mouse: To direct the train to go in a specific direction, slide the mouse in any direction on a flat surface.
Mobile: To direct the train to go in a specific direction, slide a stylus pen or finger in any direction across the touchscreen or trackpad surface.
