Tomb of the Dash is another fun game in the popular Geometry Dash series. It isn't a classic side-scrolling dash race. It's not an up-scrolling one either. Instead, it's a dungeon-crawl arcade game in which the player directs the GD square avatar character, also known as the yellow cube, through deadly mazes.
Against a black background, the player directs the character's movements through passageways constructed from purple stone walls. With each movement, the character dashes left, right, up or down. That said, the player can only direct it to dash from one wall to another in a straight line, which means that it can't stop until it reaches a wall surface. They must carefully evaluate every potential path before making it dash to guarantee that it reaches every part of the maze without slamming into a deadly obstacle like a metal spike strip or blue laser.
In Tomb of the Dash, the player collects pellets and stars in 10 mazes by directing the character to dash through the floating objects. The game displays the collected stars at the upper-left corner. The player can't unlock a new level without completing the one before it. They must collect everything and then direct the character to a portal that leads it to the next maze.
How to play:
Start the game. Select the PC mode to play with a computer keyboard or the Mobile mode to play with a mouse, trackpad or touchscreen. Direct the yellow cube to collect pellets and stars and bypass deadly obstacles. Complete all 10 levels.
Controls:
Keyboard: To make the yellow cube avatar dash from wall to wall in a maze, use the Arrows.
Mouse: Click buttons. To direct the avatar's movements, press the left button and swipe the mouse.
Mobile: Tap buttons. To direct the character's movements, press and swipe the finger or stylus.
