Go Up Dash is a racing game in the Geometry Dash (GD) series. Although an anthropomorphic classic square or other shape performs a dash, the game doesn't follow the traditional side-view or side-scroller interface format. Across more than 12 levels, the player directs the shape left and right around obstacles in a tunnel that runs graphically up the screen. This is a vertical top-down-view or up-scroller format.

The player starts by selecting a free avatar character icon via a button on the home screen. They're not restricted to GD characters. They can select a masked superhero instead. Once they make their selection, they return to the home screen to access the play option and then select the first level. Since all levels unlock sequentially, they must beat it to unlock the next level.

Go Up Dash presents the dash track as a space between two vertical lines for walls with obstacles randomly spread throughout in the way of the avatar shape that moves automatically up the tunnel the moment the player starts a level. Obstacles include deadly arrowhead projectiles, shape and object stacks, and spike strips of varying lengths.

The game requires the player to hone skills, including hand-eye coordination and timing. They must also have a great sense of rhythm at times to direct the character to switch from one side of the track or wall to the other at precisely the right moment.

If the player allows their avatar to hit anything, they must start a level again.

How to play:

Review avatar face options and select a character. Start the first level. Switch the character from one side of the tunnel to the other rapidly to direct it around obstacles. Finish the dash race. Unlock every level.

Controls:

Mouse: Click buttons, avatar icons and spots on the tunnel track.
Mobile: Tap buttons, icons and track spots.
