Have you ever wanted to play a fun, free game as your favorite superhero? Well. now is your chance with this free online game. You can jump right in right away as one of the biggest Marvel characters, Captain America. The object of the game is to, using your mouse, guide your character and try and collect these colored orbs to gain points. You do this while also avoiding the other players who can hit you and "kill" you, which unfortunately ends your game. I did not realize this at first and lost pretty quickly. If you play enough there is a ranking system where you can start as different superheroes and gain an advantage.
Superhero IO, also known as Superhero.io, is a real-time, multiplayer battle-arena game that allows players to unlock up to 30 heroes and villains, including Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant Man, Thor, Batman, Hulk, The Vision, Thing, The Flash, Green Lantern, Wolverine, Cyclops, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Ghost Rider, Deadpool, Venom, Joker and Thanos.
The player must collect colored, paint-splat dots of different shapes and sizes in the arena to increase their initial character's size, strength and stamina. They can reach the next level to unlock and play a different hero or villain by collecting dots or attacking other players. Whenever the player's character dies during a fight against another character, they must start over. If they come out of an attack unscathed, they earn more points or level up to the next unlockable character.
Superhero IO also gives the player other opportunities to level up. They earn coins for every kill, which they can use to upgrade attack distance and attack and movement speeds. They can open a treasure chest or play a free spin wheel from time to time to win upgrades. They can also win life tokens by watching advertising videos.
How to play:
Roam the battle arena. Walk or sprint through dots. Stay away from other players until the character has leveled up enough to defeat them. Attack other players' characters who aren't as strong to level up faster. Perform upgrades whenever possible with collected coins.
Controls:
Mouse: To move in any direction, slide the mouse. To sprint forward in the arena, press the right button. To attack another hero or villain, press the left button.
Mobile: To move in any direction, slide a finger or stylus across the surface of the screen or trackpad, To attack, tap the surface.
