Stormy Kicker is a sports game that focuses on a striker's role. A player via the striker must make goals via kicks and headers.
The player must select a country and team using a circular flag icon. The game then picks an opponent and presents all 16 matches on a tournament bracket diagram for the World Cup. On the field, the player receives the ball passed to their avatar from a fast or slow corner kick that occurs offscreen on the left or right side. The game shows the player where they must perform the kick or header using a dotted trajectory line and red, circular target and crosshair. They must time the striker's action to make the shot.
As the game progresses, the player faces off against more than the goalie. They must deal with an increasing number of defenders as well. If they fail to time the arrival of the ball near or at the target correctly, they miss the shot entirely or send it in the wrong direction beyond the net or directly to the goalie and defenders. If they time it well, they make a goal each time.
Stormy Kicker makes gameplay more difficult by limiting the number of balls per match. The player loses a match if they run out of balls before they achieve the score they need to win.
How to play:
Watch how the trajectory line appears on the screen to determine the direction of the corner kick. Wait for the ball to appear along the line. Time the kick or header. Perform the action. Continue this process for as long as necessary to win the match.
Controls:
Mouse: To shoot the ball via a kick or header, click the left button.
Mobile: To shoot the ball, tap the touchscreen or trackpad surface.
