Penalty Champs 22 is a sports game that semi-realistically simulates penalty-shot playoffs. A player's goal is to play both the striker and goalkeeper as a representative of their team and chosen country at different points during the game.
The player picks a country from a list of country flags. They can choose to play alone against all countries or as part of a four-country group in a series that features eight total groups.
Penalty Champs 22 challenges the player in unique ways. As a striker, the player makes three adjustments to kick the ball with precision into the opposing team's net. They adjust the horizontal direction, vertical direction and speed of the shot. Yet, the game moves the slider rapidly on the bars for each adjustment tool. The player must stop the slider in the best position or risk the ball missing the net entirely or landing too close to the opposing team's goalie. As a goalkeeper, the player blocks a ball by selecting a bullseye target that appears in front of the net at the last possible moment as a warning of where the opposing team's striker plans to kick the ball. If they fail to perform a save, the opposing team makes a goal.
The player wins the entire game if their country achieves the highest score at the end or reaches the final bracket in a tournament.
How to play:
As the striker, stop the sliders at the best spots for direction, height and speed. As the goalkeeper, hit the bullseye as soon as it appears to stop the ball.
Controls:
Mouse: To make any type of selection, place the cursor above the button, slider bar or target, and then click the left button.
Mobile: To make any type of selection, place the cursor, and then tap the trackpad or touchscreen surface.
