3D Free Kick: World Cup 18 is a penalty kick sports game. During a virtual simulation of the 2018 World Cup, the player must win the championship for their team and country via penalty kicks.
The player starts by picking the country they want to represent and the first other team in the tournament. They then receive a brown-yellow-white ball atop a rotating blue and pink ring.
With a first-person perspective, the player kicks the ball with a slightly curved or straight trajectory at the other team's net. They must make enough goals to earn the points necessary to win the current round of the competition before they run out of balls. The game gives them five balls, which they can track at the upper-left corner.
3D Free Kick: World Cup 18 gives the player several ways to make the points quickly. They can repeatedly score goals or direct the ball to hit special points areas that randomly appear near the net.
