Billiards Pool

Billiards is an online version of pool that depicts a green-felt table and green-marble border. A player or players can play Straight Pool and 8-Ball Pool. With the former, a player can play alone, versus the computer or against another player. With the latter, they can play against the computer or another player.

With Straight Pool, a player must pocket any eight balls (mix of solids and stripes) to win. If they play against the computer or another player, they must pocket the balls before their opponent. If a player performs a scratch or fails to pocket a ball, the other player receives the next turn.

With 8-Ball Pool, a player must pocket all seven of the matching balls in their set (solids or stripes) and the 8 ball to win. If they fail to pocket a ball during the break, they're assigned a set based on whoever makes the first pocket. For example, if the computer or other player pockets a ball from a particular set, then they're assigned the opposite set. They lose the game if they attempt to pocket the 8 ball and scratch the cue ball, or they unintentionally pocket the 8 ball.

Enjoy classic billiards in the comfort of home!

How to play:

Consider the positions of every ball on the table. Think strategically. Use ideas from geometry to hit the cue ball at the best angles to hit other desired balls. Whenever necessary, strike a ball with the cue ball to push another ball into a pocket. Complete the specific game's requirements.

Controls:

Mouse: Roll the mouse around to align the cue stick and position the cursor above the target ball. Press the left button, wait for the game to draw back the stick as far as desired, and then release the button.
Mobile: Slide a finger or stylus on a touch pad or screen surface to align the cue stick and position the cursor above the target ball. Press the surface, wait for the stick to pull back as far as desired, and then stop pressing the surface.
