Lover Ball: Red and Blue is a side-scrolling platformer with elements similar to Red Ball. Yet, this game doesn't focus on only one ball that collects coins, overcomes obstacles and disposes of enemies. Instead, a player must direct both a Red Ball and a Blue Ball that are madly in love on paths through each level while searching for broken pieces to a floating heart.
The player switches between both balls to complete tasks. For example, as the Blue Ball, they might roll onto a button that lowers the Red Ball on to an elevator platform to a level that features the red half of the broken heart. Each ball can only collect the half that matches their color. The game allows the player to unlock and upgrade balls skins as well without changing the colors.
Lover Ball: Red and Blue supplies boosters, such as a magnet booster that auto-attracts coins. Free reward opportunities also exist, including a multiplier, spin wheel and gifts. The player must usually watch an advertisement to collect associated free coins and boosters.
How to play:
Direct one of the balls to the left or right along the path. Collect coins and upgrade abilities with boosters. Switch the balls to perform different actions. Push items into new positions to help a ball jump higher. Bounce on top of an enemy. Collect free rewards. Upgrade skins.
Controls:
Keyboard: To make the Red Ball or Blue Ball move left or right or push an item, press Left Arrow or Right Arrow, respectively. To make one of the balls jump, press Up Arrow. To switch balls, press Right Ctrl.
Mouse: To make a ball move or push in a direction, click the corresponding onscreen arrow buttons. To make a ball jump, click the up arrow. To switch balls, press the switch button. To change camera perspective, press the X arrows button, and then slide the mouse in a direction.
Mobile: To direct a ball, tap the arrow buttons. To make a ball jump, tap the up arrow. To switch balls, press the switch button. To change camera perspective, press the X arrows button, and slide the finger or stylus in a direction.
