Arkadium Bubble Shooter
The classic bubble popping game with yet another twist. Still shoot the colored bubbles to match them with the collection of colored bubbles at the top, but this time you only have a select number of moves. Start the game with 40 moves and depending on your score at the end, get a number of moved added for the next level. There are also special bubbles: some take out an entire row, and some burst popping the bubbles around it. There are also new obstacles. Black bubbles can not be popped except by cutting them lose from the rest of the mass, and glass bubbles turn into the color of the bubble that popped off of it. Take on these new challenges to perfect your skill at the bubble popping game.
Arkadium's Bubble Shooter takes traditional play to the next level with a variety of extra match-3 elements!
A player must connect three or more bubbles to remove them from horizontal rows on a playfield. With traditional bubble shooters, they must remove as many bubbles as possible until either time runs out or the rows slide under the bottom of the field. They perform each removal by shooting a projectile bubble at color-matched bubbles on the rows from an arrow-style shooter.
This bubble-shooting game differs greatly from similar classic games. The projectile bubbles come out of hole in a circular, stone dais inset with a star motif. The player directs the projectile with a white, dot-style, targeting line. The game also limits the number of moves (i.e. shots) similar to task-based, tile-matching games. The player must clear the field or acquire as many points as possible before they run out of shots or the bubbles slide to the bottom of the field.
As with tile-matching games, the player receives access to boosters that help them remove more bubbles faster. For example, a booster bubble marked with arrows acts like a rocket booster to take out an entire horizontal row and any bubbles beneath it. A glowing booster bubble marked with a white sun takes out a group of multicolored bubbles.
The player earns points for each bubble they pop. If they successfully complete a level, the game applies a multiplier and adds twenty or more additional shots to the remainder to use in the next level. If the player runs out of shots, they must restart the entire game.
How to play:
Look for at least two connected bubbles on the rows that match the projectile bubble. Align the shot. Shoot the projectile. Repeat with each new projectile to clear the playfield. Use booster bubbles, as necessary.
Mouse: To shoot a projectile, slide the mouse around to direct the target line, and then click one time.
Mobile: To shoot, slide a finger or stylus around on the touchpad or screen to select a target, and then tap one time.
