Minesweeper Deluxe is another version of the popular logic-and-strategy Minesweeper game released by Microsoft (1990). A player must clear away gray tiles that hide open cells that represent water without revealing and detonating 10 hidden, spiked, spherical naval mines. The player can choose a simple 9x9 board or play a more complex 16x16 or 16x30 game. As with similar games, Minesweeper Deluxe doesn't feature a countdown clock. Instead, it times how long the player takes to finish. The game also provides hints about the locations of the mines via numbers that announce the adjacent or diagonal locations in relation to the open cells.
How to play:
Select one gray tile to start. Review the number hints as the game progresses to attempt to guess the locations of the mines in relation to those numbered areas. Keep selecting gray tiles until achieving either success or mine detonation.
Controls:
Mouse: To select a tile and reveal what's hidden beneath it, click it.
Mobile: To select a tile, tap it.
