Mahjong Kitchen is a business-management game that uses Mahjong gameplay to drive the story and actions. A player must serve fantastic drinks, salads, soups and meats to improve the rating of their café in a city after a series of bad reviews.
The player serves great beverages and meals by learning how to cook everything to match a recipe book. To use the book, they must collect a specific number of ingredients and other items per each beverage or meal by matching them in pairs on the screen. After they perfect some recipes, they must complete additional mini-match games to complete customer orders. The game makes the process easier by supplying boosters to highlight available tiles and matches and re-shuffle and re-stack the tile layers to reveal hidden tiles.
Mahjong Kitchen rewards stars and gold coins to the player with every successful recipe and order outcome. The former helps with updating the café's rating on the main screen. The latter helps the player unlock new recipes that can assist them with diversifying the café's menu and bringing in more customers to improve ratings.
How to play:
Use the onscreen tutorial to learn the basics of the user interface and each area of the game. Match pairs of tiles to collect ingredients, improve recipes and complete customer orders. Match unneeded tiles to access needed ones. Use boosters. Add new menu items by unlocking and learning new recipes.
Controls:
Mouse: To select the tiles in a pair, position the cursor above the first tile and click the left button, and then repeat the step to select the second tile.
Mobile: To select the tiles in a pair, position the cursor above the first tile and tap the surface of the screen or trackpad, and then repeat the step to select the second tile.
