As the Downtown 1930's Mafia boots up, your first order of business is to give yourself a nickname. Next, you can choose your car from various different types, including a cop car, an ambulance, a black car, a farm car, a fire truck and more. You can also choose your mobster's clothing between black, beige, or stripes.
Then, you choose an online game to play in, and you can then interact with the city. You use the “WASD” keys to move around, and the mouse to aim your machine gun. You can also enter your car with the “F” key. It's mostly a free for all game with people shooting machine guns at one another in a city scene that's near the ocean. Beyond that, the game is pretty open-ended and you can drive where you want and engage whoever else you want that you see along the way if they are in your game.
