Bloons TD 5, the fifth game in the Bloons Tower Defense series of semi-idle strategy warfare games, continues the story of monkeys combating balloons, or bloons, that an unseen enemy sends through their territories. The player helps by creating defensive strategies to prevent waves of bloons from floating from one end of each territory to another. They use various tools, including monkeys, cannons and, of course, towers.
This game offers a wide selection of tracks and difficulty modes. The player still plans strategies and uses their war chest of coins to buy and install their defense tools at points along a road or track. They use projectiles like darts, tacks and cannon balls and other weapons like road spikes to pop bloons.
Bloons TD 5 differs from previous games because it offers better graphics and a lot more bloons trickery and fun discoveries. The player doesn't immediately see all the potential weapons or upgrades available to them. They start with the Dart Monkey and unlock other weapons and upgrades by winning rounds. That said, many of the tools from previous games eventually appear, including the Tack Tower and Ice Monkey. Upgraded monkeys include Sniper Monkey and Ninja Monkey. The game also offers a fast-forward option that allows the player to quickly finish a battle and move on to their next plan.
When the player wins, they receive achievement medals in addition to coins. They can even prove their strategy skills through daily challenges and missions.

How to play:
Make track and difficulty selections. Review the battlefield. Think of the best defense based on the available coins and tools. Place monkeys, towers and other weapons in the best positions. If desired, fast-forward a battle. Perform upgrades. Collect rewards. Complete daily challenges and side missions.
Controls:
Mouse: Click buttons and icons. To position a monkey or other weapon, place the cursor above it, press the left button, and then slide it with the mouse.
Mobile: Tap options. To position a weapon, tap and drag the finger or stylus.
