How to play:
The mechanics of the game are generally simple. As soon as the game starts, it prompts you to the game area. The interface is mainly composed of the crossword puzzle which is built with empty interconnected boxes. Located below it are the jumbled letter tiles. To form a word, simply click the first letter tile, hold the left mouse button, and connect the other letters until you have formed a valid word. Simply release the hold to submit. If the word is valid, the crossword will be filled with the letter tiles and if it’s not, the word will be rejected. When the word you submitted is a valid English word yet not part of the puzzle, it will be sent to your extra word list and you can earn additional monetary rewards. Much like any other word game, Wordscapes features Hints. Players can take advantage of the hint features just in case they find the puzzle quite challenging to solve. The Basic Hint will randomly reveal a letter on the crossword. Aside from the Hints, players can also take advantage of Shuffle which you can use for free. Simply tap the Shuffle icon and it will shuffle the letters on the board. The level is cleared when you have filled in all the letters on the crossword.
