Paper Minecraft is a clone of Minecraft that offers all of the same types of crafting and block-world exploration in two-dimensional instead of three-dimensional worlds. The player can create their own mode or world or visit ones created by other players.
The player receives access to Creative, Survival and Peaceful modes. With Creative, for example, they create their own Paper Minecraft world. They can use the Example Worlds button to gain inspiration for their own creation. If they choose Survival mode, they search for resources, craft items, mine for materials, modify their environment, set up defensive perimeters, prompt their avatar to grow and eat animals and crops, and create weapons. For example, they might craft some tools by collecting wood from a tree.
Paper Minecraft guarantees that the player can enjoy seemingly endless hours of Minecraft-style play.

How to play:
Select an option on the home screen. If playing a new game, select a mode, world type and skin. Visit the world. Walk around and explore the landscape. Look for potential resources. If desired, change the landscape, collect objects, eat and grow food, open chests, place items and perform other survival tasks. To visit other players' world, input the appropriate code on the Example Worlds screen.
Controls:
Keyboard: Paper Minecraft requires a keyboard for some actions. To jump, move around and swim, use Arrows or the WASD keys. To eat or hold an item, use the F key. To interact with a chest, the inventory, a furnace or a table, use E. To break an item in half during crafting, use the Spacebar. To create a save point, use O. To pause, use P. To resume, use Spacebar.
Mouse: Click buttons. To dig and reposition blocks, place the cursor above a spot and then click.
Mobile: Tap buttons. To perform certain tasks, position the cursor and tap.
