As the title of the game clearly suggests, Grass Cutter is a relaxing yet surprisingly tricky puzzle game where your goal is nothing more than to cut grass. It features a nice mixture of super easy to surprisingly tricky puzzles that will put your skills to the test. Equipped with a sharp rotating blade, you can clear off every grass that comes your way. Here’s where the challenge comes in. Every level features a different layout or path that the blade can pass through. The blade will only move back and forth in a fixed direction. For instance, if I click and drag the blade to the left, it will move toward the direction and will only stop once it hits a wall.
You cannot, however, stop the blade halfway. Therefore, you must visualize the puzzle carefully before making an action, otherwise, you’ll get stuck and it will leave you no other option but to start the same level back from the beginning. There is no time limit, so you definitely have all the time to figure out the correct cutting sequence. If you are looking for a relaxing puzzle with a decent level of difficulty to challenge your brain, Grass Cutter is surely a great fit. Have fun!
How to play:
The mechanics or gameplay of Grass Cutter is as simple as it sounds. As the game starts, it prompts you to a certain layout or path covered with grasses. The blade, on the other hand, will be placed randomly in the layout. To start cutting grasses, simply click and hold the left mouse button and drag the blade in whatever direction you intend to. Be mindful that the blade will only move in a fixed direction and you cannot stop halfway. You cannot also undo your action so make sure to come up with an effective strategy to clear the level successfully. What really makes the game stand out is the beautiful visuals. Once you cleared a level, a beautiful set of flowers will quickly bloom and covered the path. There is a great number of levels to explore in Grass Cutter which gives this game decent longevity.
