Cat Runner is an infinite running game that features a cat running through a cityscape. The player directs the cat through various environments across the city. They also help it collect coins and a wide range of everyday items.
In this version of the game, the cat is dressed like a cop. The player can eventually use coins to upgrade the cat to other types of cats and outfits, including a unicorn, dinosaur, doctor, businessman, king, girl and bear. They can also upgrade the cat with items that help make the run or collecting coins easier, such as a hoverbike, hoverboard and magnet.
Cat Runner often requires that the player direct the cat to jump over or slide under barriers, run around or on top of busy traffic and avoid crashes by taking the run to the sidewalks. If the cat does crash, the player must restart the entire run after a brief timer counts down. If the player does extremely well, they rank on a top-player leaderboard.
Like other versions, Cat Runner offers the player multiple opportunities to earn or win points, coins and keys. They can complete missions, play the lucky wheel mini game and watch advertisements.
How to play:
Direct the cat to avoid crashing into obstacles. Collect items noted at the started of the run. Collect coins with or without a magnet. Purchase items that help make the run easier. Play the mini game and watch advertisements.
Controls:
Keyboard: To direct the cat left or right of an obstacle, press Left Arrow or Right Arrow, respectively. To make it jump over an obstacle, press Up Arrow. To make it slide under something, press Down Arrow.
Mouse: To select anything, click it. To direct the cat, press the left button, and slide the mouse.
Mobile: To select anything, tap it. To direct the cat, press the screen or trackpad, and slide a finger or stylus pen.
