Set against a serene nighttime backdrop highlighted by a starry sky and rugged landscape, players are tasked with freeing Shiba Inu dog heads and completing various challenges. The aim is to pop clusters of bubbles before they descend to the bottom of the screen. The game offers players two interchangeable bubble projectiles, fired from a unique disc-and-ring shooter. The disc conveniently shows how many projectiles are left, while the upper corners provide handy displays: the left shows the current level's objective, and the right shows the star progress bar. To score points, players shoot these bubble projectiles at groups of two or more matching bubbles, aiming to create clusters of three or more. Quick thinking is encouraged, as players can swap projectiles to maximize match potential. Clever shots can also bounce off invisible side walls to reach tricky spots. For extra excitement, Doge Bubble includes special boosters like bombs, rainbow balls, and rockets, available by watching ads. When all bubbles of a specific color are cleared, the next projectile adapts to match the remaining colors. Successfully rescuing all Shiba Inu dogs triggers an autopop feature that clears leftover bubbles, boosting the star bar and enhancing scores.
