Scrap Metal 2 continues the wild driving and stunt action of the previous game. The player receives eight cars with somewhat alternatively named makes and models this time (i.e., Dodge Challenger, Cevrolet Camaro, Subaru Impreza WRX, Honda Civic, Audi S3, Nissan GTR EVO, Ferrari 250 GTO and Lomborghini Huracan).

Inside a large desert valley with cracked mud flats, rolling hills and natural stone walls, the player performs stunts and destroys vehicles. Unlike the previous game, the player doesn't automatically find stunt objects in the valley, such as halfpipes, inclines, loops and other objects. Instead, they receive an inventory that allows them to custom-select and place stunt tools.

The player also receives new objects, including a giant rolling eight ball that they can strike with a car and NPCs to act as spectators. The game presents the cars in a row instead of parked all over the valley. As a result, the player can cause even more damage by driving directly into the row.

Scrap Metal 2 provides custom vehicle system adjustment options (i.e., ABS, ESP and T/A). The game offers plenty of realism. Since the ground is dried out, the player breaks up the mud and blows dirt into the air. Vehicle damage includes a cracked windshield or back glass, a crumpled or ripped-up hood, a loose fender and a popped trunk lid.

Any time the player switches vehicles, the damage to the previous ones reverses. The only time this doesn't happen completely is if the player rolls a vehicle. An upside-down car experiences reset damage but doesn't flip over.

How to play:

Choose a vehicle. Adjust the settings. Keep the damage setting or turn it off. Explore the valley and hills, or use items from the inventory to create a stunt arena. Drive every car.

Controls:

Keyboard: Scrap Metal 2 requires a keyboard. To direct a vehicle's movements, use Arrows or WASD. For the parking brake, use Spacebar. To leave, use Esc.
Mouse: Click buttons and icons. To place an object from the inventory, click and drag it.
Mobile: Tap buttons and icons. To place an object, tap and drag it.
