Alien World by Skorit Games is an action-packed up-scrolling shooter game that takes you to a series of exhilarating levels. The game is a wonderful homage to classic vertical shooters that we used to enjoy during the arcade era. The core objective in this game is to take control of a battle spacecraft and eliminate as many aliens as possible. To clear the level, you must be able to survive the challenge and prevent the spaceship from sustaining too much damage.
Upgrading your guns will play a huge role in maximizing your chances of survival. It drastically improves your attack rate and radius, allowing you to inflict more damage and hit multiple enemies in one shot. If you have earned enough money, you can also change your gun type from rockets to lasers and plasma. You can also take advantage of the consumable boosters to keep your spaceship safe from destruction. You can also make the ship more visually appealing by unlocking some skins. To top it all off, you will soon get access to the game’s Survivor mode where the task is to get the highest score possible. How to play:
Alien World follows a very simple set of rules and mechanics. As soon as the game starts, you will be prompted to the Main Menu which gives you quick access to the Gun Shop, Skin Shop, Boosters, Gun Types, and the Survival campaign. To start your journey, simply click the “Battle button” and you will be deployed right away to the battle area. The game is done and played in a classic vertical shooting fashion. The screen will start to move and your ship will automatically accelerate. You can hover the cursor of your mouse to move the spaceship and drag it to whatever location you prefer. Click and hold the left mouse button to start shooting. Boosters, on the other hand, can only be obtained and activated before each level. The rate of difficulty will drastically increase as you progress. There are ten chapters to explore in Alien World and each chapter concludes with a boss battle. You also earn money for every enemy that you destroyed. This money can later be used in the in-game shop to purchase upgrades and boosters, or better yet a new skin. Be mindful that you cannot sustain too much damage in this game. If you lose all your lives, the game will come to a quick end.
