A game of solitaire classic is an interactive way to sharpen your mind and keep your cards close at hand. The rules of a game of solitaire are easy to follow. There are dozens of game variations, but most solitaire games use the same basic rules: stacks, piles and columns. The important solitaire elements are the decks of playing cards, the pegs, and the tableau. The cards have ten ranks that are numbered one through ten. On top of the deck is a different shuffled deck of face-down cards designated as the stock. The top card from this stock is usually turned over to make up a new tableau and move the game forward. Solitaire is played with 52 cards, divided into four suits. The king, queen, jack and the ten are also considered wild cards numbered one through ten. The player should set up the tableau so that only one card may be moved at a time. After all 4 columns have been formed, the player can start building on each column.
