Real Football Challenge makes a player consider the on-field tactics that real soccer players and coaches must use during games. The player's goal is to direct a team on a soccer field through individual kicks in simulated championship games.
The player begins by learning how to kick goals with one member of the team. They continue level by level with new members until they control every member of the team. On an individual basis, they pass the ball, kick to make goals and prevent the other team from acquiring the ball or achieving saves.
The player wins a level once they make a goal. The game provides a targeting line to help them direct the ball. They can also use openings created by the goalie's position in relation to the net, such as to the far right or left, to determine the best shot.
How to play:
Follow the onscreen prompts to practice kicking the ball into the net to make goals. When more members of the team appear, pass the ball to the one closest to the net who isn't surrounded by members of the opposing team. Direct them to kick the ball into the net.
Controls:
Mouse: To align the shot and kick the ball, position the cursor on the field, press and hold down the left button, move the mouse so that the targeting line that appears points toward another member of the team or the interior of the net, and then release the button.
Mobile: To kick the ball, position the cursor on the field, press and hold the tip of a finger or stylus against the screen or trackpad, slide it around on the surface to point the targeting line to another team member or the net interior, and then remove the tip from the surface.
