Hidden Magic OG is a casual, three-dimensional, hidden-object game set across eight rooms in a wizard's castle in a fantasy world. A player must find a variety of objects in five levels per room, including open and closed books, lit and unlit candles, food items, pots and pottery, measuring scales and scrolls of different lengths. The player's primary objective is to find these objects before a rainbow-colored, horizontal timer runs out of energy.
Unlike many hidden-object games, Hidden Magic OG doesn't present the player with a single image. Instead, they receive a complete 360-degree view of a room. They can swing the camera perspective left, right, up and down during their search. When the player successfully completes their task, they receive points. The game also unlocks the next level or room. If they fail, they receive a revive option. They can also return to the main menu and select the current room and level.
It's important to note that many of the objects look almost exactly like, which can make it hard for a player to find the right one. Additionally, the game forces the player to return to the main menu and select the room and level each time they complete a level instead of giving them automatic access. Lastly, the player might need to replay some levels to earn enough points to unlock a new room.
How to play:
Swing the camera perspective to see the entire room. Look for the objects displayed as a horizontal list of pictures at the bottom of the screen. Complete the task before time runs out. If necessary, replay levels to earn more points.
Controls:
Mouse: To swing the camera, press the left button, and then slide the mouse. To select a hidden object, click it.
Mobile: To swing the camera, press the touchscreen or trackpad surface, and slide the finger or stylus. To select an object, tap it.
