Brad Borne's Fancy Snowboarding is a drawing and racing game that features Fancy Pants Man enjoying a snow-covered Sguiggleville! FPM needs the player's help reaching red flags at the end of race courses across eight levels within the fastest times possible.
The game doesn't present the player with any sort of complicated action or adventure plot. Instead, FPM merely wants to succeed with racing down slopes, up inclines and across gaps. He also needs to collect spiral squiggles and winter holiday presents. The player assists by drawing white lines to create platforms for the character to glide across in difficult areas.
Fancy Snowboarding makes play harder by limiting the amount of ink available in the pen displayed in the top-left area. If the player runs out, FPM can't finish a race. Additionally, the ink fades quickly like snow falling away or melting. As a result of these two challenges, the player must draw each line with precision at the right moment or FPM fails. For example, the character might fall into a crevasse or not reach green boost arrows.
The game gives the player on-screen hints about where they should start and stop a line. They can also track their time at the upper center of the screen.
How to play:
Review the first part of the race course. Look for any line-drawing hints. Whenever a platform is necessary, draw quickly and with precision. Collect squiggles and presents. Reach the red flags. Finish all online levels.
