Cubes 2048.io is a snake game that combines battle royale and 2048 merge gameplay. The player attempts to grow a snake made of cubes in a battle arena until it displays at least "2048" on the snake's head. They also attempt to prevent other players from absorbing their snake's cubes and killing it.

The player starts with a cube marked "2" or uses ad viewing to use a "16," "32," or higher cube. They create a username or allow the game to autogenerate one. In the arena, they direct their cube to slither toward other cubes that display an identical or lower number or snakes with lower-number heads.

When the player collects the first matching cube, the snake's head merges with it to create a higher-numbered cube. They must take care not to allow larger snakes to collide with it. If this happens, the enemy snake absorbs and merges with some or all of the player's cubes.

Cubes 2048.io provides helpful tools and harmful obstacles. The player can sometimes direct their snake to slither across a panel of arrows to speed up for a few seconds. That said, some tiles feature a division sign that can cause the snake to lose cubes. If the snake dies, the player can watch a video to revive it or review their rank on a global leaderboard and start over. 

The player upgrades the appearance of their snake with accessories by watching ads. If they reach certain number milestones above 2048, they receive additional free upgrades. They use the Shop button on the home screen to access these options.

How to play:

Select a username, and then the Tap to Start button. Direct the snake to collect cubes and defeat enemy snakes. Use speed arrows and multipliers to improve play. Stay away from the division-symbol tiles.

Controls:

Mouse: Click buttons. To direct the snake, slide the mouse. To make it slither faster without speed arrows, press or double-click the left button while sliding the mouse.
Mobile: Tap buttons. To direct the snake, slide the tip of the stylus or finger on the screen or touch pad. To make it slither faster, press or double-tap the surface while performing the sliding motion.
