Prepare yourself for another nostalgic platformer! Developed and published by Winterworks Gmbh, Bloo Kid pays tribute to some of the classic platformer games that we grew up with. It wonderfully captures a nostalgic atmosphere that quickly reminds you of games like Bubble Bobble and the iconic Super Mario Bros. The game generally follows the story of the adorable Bloo Kid and his journey to save Pink Girl after being abducted by the evil Wizard. The main goal is to guide Bloo Kid as he navigates through eight exciting worlds and defeats all challenging bosses along the way until he saves the princess from the hands of the wizard. Similar to classic platformers, you will be prompted to a 2D screen. However, unlike Super Mario Bros and the rest, the game takes you to a fixed screen. Enemies will randomly spawn in different locations and you must be able to eliminate them all to clear the level. The rate of difficulty will drastically increase as you progress, making this game even more challenging and fun. You can gain three stars at each level. The first is achieved by completing the stage. The second is when you managed to clear the level without losing a life point, and the third is when you are fast enough to grab the Special star that appears randomly for a limited time at the end of each level. How to play:

Bloo Kid follows a very simple set of rules and mechanics. As soon as the game starts, it prompts you to a one-screen stage which means that the stage is fixed on a single screen. Enemies will start to spawn in random locations. To kill them, simply stomp over the enemies in a classic Super Mario fashion. Enemies have different behavior that you must pay attention to. Using the WASD or Arrow keys, you can freely navigate around the screen. Since Bloo Kid has no special abilities other than the stomp, you must be very cautious with your action and make sure to prevent the character from being hit. Getting hit by an enemy or projectile, or running into an environmental hazard causes you to lose a heart and the third star will be removed. When all five hearts are lost, it results in a failure and the game will come to a quick end, giving you no other option but to start the same level back from the very beginning. Players are free to play the previous levels in an attempt to beat personal records and obtain all three stars. This provides the Bloo Kid game an impressive replay value and longevity.
