Subway Surfers World Tour: Saint Petersburg brings Jake Bressler to the snow-covered backdrop of Saint Petersburg, Russia, during the winter holidays. Jake has once again spread graffiti, and the local security guard and dog, dressed like Santa Claus and a red-nosed reindeer, respectively, are hot on his trail! The player helps the character run ahead of the law for as long as possible and directs him to collect floating, star-embossed gold coins, blue keys, helpful tools, and the letters of a word in a special bonus prize word hunt minigame. If they want, they also earn additional rewards by completing missions.
The player isn't restricted to Jake after the first run. The game allows them to switch to free characters like Fresh and Tricky. After they earn enough coins, they can upgrade to other fun characters. Additionally, they can equip the character with single-use and permanent gear, such as a head start for the run, a jetpack and new hoverboards. They can use coins to upgrade some of the equipment over time.
Subway Surfers World Tour: Saint Petersburg offers the same mechanics as all the other World Tour games in this series. If the character hits a barrier, train or other obstacle in their path with the security guard and dog nearby, the run ends. If they're using a protection or hoverboard, the character can usually keep running through the city.
That said, without fail, the player loses control, and the run stops. The game increases the speed of the run at times, and sometimes it's difficult to determine if the character has protection.

How to play:
Direct Jake or another character to avoid obstacles and collect coins and other objects. Buy items and perform upgrades. After a failure, play again to beat the last-best score and distance.
