Papas Taco Mia

Play as a restaurant employee in this game about working at a Mexican fast-food restaurant. The game features a bare-bones story where your character wins a taco-eating contest, but your character only wins ownership of the taco shop; which they decide to work at. You must now watch for customers to take orders from, grill and flip meat for those orders, add whatever sauces and toppings were requested by the customer, and then attach the order ticket to the plate to give to the relevant customer.

The basic gameplay loop begins with taking an order. This entails waiting for the customer to list everything they want, dragging that order ticket to a service line, following that ticket's directions at the grill and build stations, then attaching the ticket to the finished plate for the customer. The grill station is where you grill and flip meat over a stove then transfer the cooked meat to a taco. The build station is where you click and drag toppings and sauces. Thankfully, the game walks you through a tutorial order to acquaint you with all of its mechanics.

While the gameplay loop has been explained, customers rate each step of the process. Those overall ratings determine your tip's size and those tips, plus a weekly paycheck, can be used to upgrade and improve the shop and buy hats.

Controls:

Mouse: The interface for Papas Taco Mia is pretty simple. With a mouse, most game actions are accomplished by clicking and dragging the left mouse button.
Mobile: Papas Taco Mia's mobile interface closely mirrors its mouse controls but is more reliant upon you pressing and holding your finger instead of dragging a mouse around while you keep your finger held on the left mouse button.
