Beaver Weaver is an arts-and-crafts game that requires a player use colorful virtual thread designed to simulate cross-stitch floss to paint printed canvases. The player starts the game with Gloria beaver explaining how to embroider a canvas to paint a picture using the game's interface. The game offers diagrams and tools similar to classic paint-by-numbers kits.
The player picks a canvas that has a grid-style pattern in shades of gray and white marked with different letters on each cell. The letters indicate the colors of thread the player must use to complete the picture. The player can select a canvas picture from several categories, including My Collection, Creatures, Nature, Food, Magic and New Year.
Beaver Weaver provides buttons that simulate various tools. For example, the button with arrows turns on and off the letters on the pattern. The buttons with capital letters each match a color of thread. Several booster-style buttons exist, including a magic needle that paints several rows of the same color at one time and a thread ball that paints cells across a large, circular area. The player gains these boosters by completing pictures or buying them with earned coins. They also receive free boosters by accepting daily prizes and viewing advertisements.
