Basket-Ball is a skill-based sports game that requires a player to possess knowledge of geometry and hand-eye coordination. The player is presented with an orange basketball hoop and red-and-white backboard, a ball, a golden star and other items hanging in front of a peach background. They must shoot the ball to collect the star and put the ball through the hoop.
The player uses a targeting line made of brown dots to direct the shot. Across some levels, they receive access to silver-gray platforms that they bounce the ball off of at angles. Also, they sometimes use a swirling portal to shoot the ball to the star and then another portal with an arrow-style shooter similar to a bubble-shooting game to make the final shot.
When the player succeeds at making a basket in Basket-Ball, the game explodes ribbons of energy across the background, rattles the chains that hang from the hoop and makes an explosive sound. If the player fails, they can reset the level without penalty.
How to play:
Direct the end of the targeting line toward a star or the swirling portal. Collect the star. Make the basket. If dealing with a portal, shoot the ball from the second portal.
Controls:
Mouse: To shoot the ball, position the cursor above the ball, press the right button, slide the mouse to move the targeting line, and then release the button. To shoot the ball like a projectile from the portal shooter, wait for the arrow to point in the desired direction, and then click the right button.
Mobile: To shoot the ball, position the cursor, press the trackpad or touchscreen surface, slide the finger or stylus to direct the targeting line, and then stop pressing the surface. To shoot the ball like a projectile, wait for the arrow to point in the desired direction, and then tap the surface.
