The kingdom is under attack and you must protect the princess at all costs! To do so, you must summon all the powerful and strongest warriors to prevent the invaders from breaking through your defenses. The princess needs your impressive strategic skills to bring the kingdom back to its former glory. Towers: Card Battles is a very unique game developed by EverPlay and published by Lipsar Studio. It is a mixture between tower defense and a card game. Instead of giving you a path where you can place towers, the game takes you to a single yet multiple-story tower. The princess can be found at the uppermost floor and your mission is to deploy soldiers and stop the enemies from reaching the top.
Here’s how it works. Before the enemies enter the castle, you will be given enough time to place the soldiers on whatever floor you want. Simply click and drag the card toward your chosen floor to deploy them. Click or tap the Fight button to start the battle. Each soldier has an Attack point and Defense Point that you must pay attention to. If you have two identical cards on the field, you can merge them to drastically improve their attributes. You can also take advantage of special cards that can either boost their health or attack power. The level is cleared when all the waves of enemies are exterminated. How to play:
The mechanics for Towers: Card Battles are simple and easily manageable. As soon as the game starts, it prompts you right away to the castle. The castle is composed of multiple floors and the Princess is located at the very top. Random cards will be drawn before the battle begins. This gives you time to deploy soldiers to whatever floor you desire. Click and drag the cards to your chosen floor to summon them. Occasionally, special cards will be drawn from your deck. These cards will not summon any soldier but can improve their attributes and make them more efficient and effective during the attack. Some of these can drastically improve defense power while others can inflict direct damage to enemies. To level up your troops, you can merge two identical soldiers on the field. Soldiers will vary not just in terms of their attributes but also the type of weapon they wield. Some soldiers are armed with swords and mace and are designed for melee battle while some are equipped with bows and arrows that can shoot enemies from afar. It should be noted that the combat system is turn-based so you must carefully visualize the situation and place the soldiers in the most strategic position to maximize your chances of winning. If the enemy reaches the top, the princess is also capable of attacking. However, if the princess losses all her health points, the game will come to a quick end.
