Gameboss Freecell Solitaire
GameBoss Freecell Solitaire is an online tabletop version of Freecell Solitaire developed by GameBoss. The primary goal for the player is to move cards from the table or tableau of mixed up stacks into four piles, known as foundations, by suit (clubs, diamonds, hearts and spades).
After the player taps the arrow button on the main screen, the game opens to display the table and eight traditional vertical stacks of upturned cards. Above the cards are four empty slots or freecells on the upper left side for the player to later add cards to as necessary and four foundation slots on the upper right side for the player to arrange the cards by suit starting with the Ace cards (A, 2, 3... J, Q and K).
The top right corner of the table features a timer. A reverse arrow button at the bottom right corner gives the player the ability to undo any move. The player can also pause the existing game or start a new one at any time by tapping the "+" button at the bottom left corner of the screen. They can also start a new game by tapping the game number near the Menu option at the top left corner of the screen. To restart the same game entirely, the player merely needs to tap "Menu" and then "Restart."
Unlike the single suit GameBoss versions of Solitaire, a player rearranges the vertical piles by opposite color in descending order like a classic version of the game. The player merely needs to tap, drag and drop one card onto another until they reach an Ace in the piles. Once they have it, they double tap it to move it to a foundation slot and then add cards to it by color and suit (Ace to King) as they reach them in the piles. If they can't reach an Ace by rearranging cards in the piles, they can release four cards of their choice at any time to the freecell slots to help them.
