Block Wood Puzzle takes elements from classic block games enjoyed by children and adults and turns them into a unique 10x10 experience with polyomino shapes.

The player must create 10-block rows and columns on a board that features a 10x10 grid to earn points. They earn bonus points any time that they create two or more lines at one time. When they complete a row or column, the line disappears so that they can create new lines for as long as possible until they run out of space to place shapes on the board.

Unlike many similar games, Block Wood Puzzle doesn't force the player to meet any complicated requirements. The game doesn't have a timer or even boosters. The player merely needs to play at their own pace until they run out of space. They then create their challenges during subsequent games by attempting to beat their last best score.

How to play:

Pick one of the three shapes located below the board. Place it anywhere on the grid. Try to determine the next strategic spot to place one of the shapes to create part of a line. Continue to place shapes to almost create lines. Place one shape to complete multiple lines.

Controls:

Mouse: To pick a shape and place it, roll the cursor on the screen until it's above the chosen shape, press the left button, slide the mouse to drag the shape to a spot on the grid, and then stop pressing the button.
Mobile: To pick a shape and place it, place the cursor above the shape, press against the surface of the touchscreen or trackpad with a stylus or finger, slide across the surface to move the shape into position, and then remove the tip from the surface.
