Arkadium Spider Solitaire
Before starting the game, choose your level. One is the easiest and four is the hardest. The object of the game is to arrange the cards in descending order, starting with the king and ace. To win the game, players need to arrange the cards into eight builds. A build is a pile of 13 cards containing the same suit. Use the hint button if you get stuck. Two cards will light up if you have a move. Click on the card pile to deal new cards. The game does not have an undo button.
Hone those card-playing skills!Arkadium Spider Solitaire is a fun online variation of traditional Klondike Solitaire gameplay. Instead of creating four foundation piles, as seen with Klondike, the player must build eight descending-order columns known as spider legs.
The game offers different levels of difficulty with the easiest represented by 1-suit gameplay. The player can also choose 2-suit or 4-suit (most difficult) options. The game begins with a mix of 54 face-down and face-up cards arranged in 10 vertical, layered columns on a classic green tabletop. The player must rearrange the columns card-by-card with the K at the top and then a descending order down to the A at the bottom (K, Q, J, 10... 3, 2, A). A card or partial build of cards turns blue when the player selects it.
Unlike similar games, Arkadium Spider Solitaire doesn't feature a countdown clock or any penalties for undoing the previous movement of a card. The player receives help from a hint tool that reveals potential next moves by placing yellow highlighting around card edges. They can also fill gaps from the columns by using cards from a draw pile, but the pile does penalize them by placing a layer of cards on every column. As a result, the player has to rearrange these cards to regain access to their builds.
How to play:
Check the columns for potential moves within the bottom layer of cards to start building the eight spider leg columns. Transfer cards to different columns to create the builds. Use the hint tool, as needed. Use the draw pile sparingly.
Mouse: To move a card or cards to work on a column build or reveal a useful card, click and drag the selection.
Mobile: To move a card or cards, tap and slide the selection.
